GeoTextile

 GeoTextile

A permeable, polymetric (synthetics or natural) textile material, in the form of manufactured sheet (which may be woven, non – woven or knitted ) used in geotechnical, environmental, hydraulic and transportation engineering applications.

Specification

Woven Geotextile

WOVEN GEOTEXTILE range is made from Polypropylene (PP) fibers using a precision weaving process. They are characterized by high tensile strengths at low elongation, hence yielding high tensile modulus. These woven geotextiles are dimensionally stable, resistant to Ultra Violet (UV) degradation and are engineered to be mechanically and chemically stable in aggressive soil environments and are also resistant to biological environments normally found in soil.

Specification

Non- Woven Geotextile

(PP Nonwoven, Needlepunched)

   Made from: Polypropylene

Nonwoven geotextiles are manufactured from high quality polypropylene staple fibres. The fibres are mechanically bonded through needle-punching to form a strong, flexible and dimensionally stable fabric structure, with optimum pore sizes and high permeability. The geotextile is resistant to chemicals and biological organisms normally found in soils and is stabilized against degradation due to short-term exposure to ultraviolet radiation. Mgiplgeo nonwoven geotextiles conforms to the following property values.
